Commercial Roof Inspection

Drone Commercial Roof Inspection

Roof surveys that read like engineering, not photography. Commercial roof inspections by drone cut inspection time, eliminate ladder and tie-off risk, and produce documentation that property managers, facility engineers, and roofing contractors can actually use. Vantage Drone Co. performs commercial roof inspections across Worcester, Greater Boston, MetroWest, the South Shore, and Cape Cod — with a 48-hour PDF report turnaround.

What's included

Every flight produces a report you can act on.

01

Interactive orthomosaic viewer — the headline deliverable (50K+ sqft)

Large-format commercial roofs ship with a browser-based orthomosaic of the full roof field. Facility teams, roofers, and engineers zoom into individual seams, fasteners, or HVAC curbs at full resolution and measure directly from the imagery — no login, no software. Standard on roofs 50,000 sqft and up; available on request for smaller buildings.

02

Full perimeter and field survey

Systematic grid flight of the entire roof field — parapets, drains, scuppers, HVAC curbs, penetrations, and flashings. Captured into one cohesive orthomosaic so the deliverable shows the roof as a single navigable surface, not a folder of disconnected photos.

03

High-resolution detail imagery

Dual-camera drones with optical zoom document fastener, seam, and membrane detail from a safe standoff distance. Embedded inside the orthomosaic viewer at native resolution.

04

Annotated PDF deliverable (archive)

A labeled PDF accompanies every job — each area of interest georeferenced and cross-referenced to a site map. Hand-off ready for your roofer, engineer, or facility team for their interpretation and scope. The PDF is the archive; the orthomosaic is the deliverable.

Roof types

Every commercial membrane and deck system.

01

Thermoplastic membrane (TPO, PVC)

Imagery of seams, fasteners, membrane surface, ponding areas, and any visible mechanical disturbance — for your roofer to assess.

02

EPDM single-ply

Imagery of seams, surface punctures or perforations, adhered membrane areas, and perimeter securement.

03

Modified bitumen & built-up

Imagery of cap sheet surface, granular loss areas, surface texture changes, blistering, and flashings.

04

Metal roofs

Standing seam, R-panel, and corrugated. Imagery of seams, panel surface, fasteners, edges, and surface corrosion.

05

Green / vegetative roofs

Drainage path imagery, perimeter documentation, and waterproofing membrane edge documentation.

Timing

When to book a commercial roof inspection.

01

Pre-purchase due diligence

Document existing roof imagery before a commercial acquisition — for your team or a third-party roofer to review.

02

Annual baseline imagery

Establish a baseline and track year-over-year visual change across a portfolio.

03

Post-event storm documentation

Imagery within 48–72 hours of a hail, wind, or ice event — to support an adjuster's or roofer's assessment of the claim.

04

Pre- and post-warranty imagery

Scope of work

What Vantage Drone Co. does — and doesn't do.

Vantage Drone Co. is a drone imaging and documentation service. We capture comprehensive, professional-grade aerial imagery and deliver it as a clearly organized PDF report.

We are not licensed roofers, structural engineers, home inspectors, or insurance adjusters. We do not make repair recommendations, structural determinations, or claim valuations. Our deliverable is the imagery and documentation — interpretation is handed off to your roofer, facility engineer, or property manager.
